All societies establish a dialogue of correspondence among the different groups that comprise it. The roles performed by some and the visual influence that they set establish that society’s development. This is the way in which one society distinguishes itself from another.

The actual problem of the Dominican Republic and all similar countries is the lack of importance that is given to education, as this is the source of knowledge and development.

“Conversation At The Optometrist’s” is a piece which, without doubt, presents exactly the saturation and abusive development of that which is “important” in what the nation has accepted as par for the course. It is the self-evaluation of the people; both the visual and true analysis. This piece is the conversation between the spectator and the art installation. This proposal corresponds to my concern for future generations.
